Correct, The Masters is one of the Four Majors that every golfer would love to win!

Only two of the Mayors are played at the same course, this being 'The Masters' (USA) and 'The Open' (UK).

How do golfers qualify for The Masters?

To be more or less guaranteed an entry, it helps if you are one of the following:

  • Masters Tournament Champions (Lifetime)
  • US Open Champions (Honorary, non-competing after five years)
  • The Open Champions (Honorary, non-competing after five years)
  • PGA Champions (Honorary, non-competing after five years)
  • Winners of The Players Championship (Three years)

Or:

  • Finish in the top 2 of the USA Amateur
  • Be the British Amateur Champion
  • Be the Amateur Champion in a no. of other national countries.
  • Finish in the top 12 of the Masters, to qualify for the next year.
  • Win a PGA Tour Event.
  • Finish in the top 50
  • Be ranked in the Top 50 Globally.

How can I get Tickets for The Masters?

We would love to get a ticket but they are in hot demand! Your best option is to try via the Masters Website well in advance of the tournament. If a student why not try for work experience and work at the event. The actual tickets are considerably expensive, the event must go onto your bucket list but will take time to save for! Another option is to watch on cable or satellite tv.
