BLOG ENTRY: 3 EPIC GOLF COURSES

A lot of us love to play golf and try new courses. In fact, some golfers like myself prefer courses that have more than one set of 18 holes, great if there are several 9 holes or two 18 hole courses. Anyhow, we recently looked at how we could combine golf with 'adventure'!

1. Golf within an African Safari Park

Where? Skuskuza National Park, South Africa. This involves playing amongst the wild animals, you might well see the big 5 on your round. There are several you tube videos and stories of having to chase lions off a tee box or two.

Cost? Circa R400, excluding club hire.

2. Golf in the Amazon

Where? Peru, Iquitos. However, the website and course appears to be closed at present.

When to Play? All year round but watch out for the Amazon wild life!

Cost? Not stated.

3. Golf in Antarctica

Where? Scott Base Country Club, A New Zealand Government Research Station. 

When to Play? All year round but in survival gear!

Cost? Not stated.
